Sustain Your Sobriety Without Trying To Do It All Alone

The Hangover Free Club is an online sobriety community, offering you a space to stay connected and make sober friends who will keep you accountable, be there for all your "sober first" moments and help you move forward in your alcohol free lifestyle.

Yes, it's a community, but it's so much more than that. The Hangover Free Club is a family of cool people to live your sober life with.

Staying alcohol free doesn't have to feel hard or lonely.  At THFC, you won't just show up as a square on a screen, which can make you feel like a wallflower. You will be integrated into a tight-knit squad where real friendships are forged.

Are you ready for a crew of sober peeps that have your back who will motivate, inspire and hold you up when you need it?

Having a community to support you and having a sense of connection instead of isolation, is the key to sustaining your hangover free life and avoiding the self-sabotaging that can happen without having people to talk to.

But that's not all it's about. Once you remove alcohol from your life, you step into a life of so much more clarity and you start to ask bigger questions. You begin to seek to understand yourself, and others, in a deeper, more meaningful way.

The Hangover Free Club isn't just a community, it's a portal to your evolution as a human who doesn't drink.

This is an empowering space that celebrates the hangover free lifestyle and helps you connect, grow and feel seen and supported as you navigate the road less traveled.

When I first got sober in 2008, I was eager to find ways to connect with people that didn’t involve drinking.

I didn’t want to go to AA and there wasn’t really much else in the way of sober meet-ups. Not much is different today, although the landscape is changing.

So, I started going to the gym every day, attending church on the weekends and going to places like Barnes and Noble, Starbucks and the movies.

The problem was that I was too shy to talk to people, afraid of what they would think if I said I wasn’t drinking and a lot of what I was doing felt isolating, although it did keep me from drinking.

I just wanted people to talk to who didn’t want to meet for happy hour or drinks and who could understand how I felt. I craved friendships that went deeper than the surface level conversations at bars or over drinks.

Most people who quit drinking don’t really know where to turn for support and to meet sober friends. I hear from people all the time that no one in their immediate circle really understands what it’s like to be alcohol free or really gets the journey they are on.

They make it through the initial hard part of putting the booze down and string some time together, but often end up feeling lonely, left out and abnormal.

The truth is that it can be hard to feel connected in a world that seems to revolve around alcohol.

It's important to have a sense of community and connection, especially for those who are newer to living without alcohol.

Let’s be honest, we are all pretty good at self-sabotaging ourselves and have likely experienced the sinking feeling of not sticking to what we said we would do. This only becomes harder to do when you try to do it alone.

But staying sober doesn’t have to be hard or a lonely road.

What if you had a crew of sober peeps in your corner, supporting you with all those sober-firsts you are going to be faced with?

What if you had a group of alcohol-free people routing and cheering for you as you navigate the waters of a sober life, ready to be there when that voice in your head tries to convince you that “you could have just one?

Wouldn’t it be nice to have people you can celebrate your wins with when you make it through a craving, dinner, event, trip or wedding without drinking who will do a victory dance with you?

How would it feel to know you always have a place to go and talk to get the guidance that you need, in the moment that you need it and to have accountability to stick with the changes you have worked so hard to make?

Because here’s the deal:

You’re going to have questions and challenges as you keep traveling down this path.

Anxieties are going to come up when you are on the brink of something new, where the waters are unchartered territory for you.

Doing it all alone without a true support system of people who understand what it’s like is exhausting and scary.

Fears and doubts are going to arise and creep in with thoughts like:

Am I really doing this forever?

Am I really NEVER having a drink again?

Can I really do this?

What if I screw it up?

You are going to wonder what to do in certain situations and want to bounce your ideas, thoughts and questions off of someone who truly understands what it’s like to be in your shoes.

How do I handle my international trip or vacation?

What do I do at the airport?

Should I go to the bachelor party?

What do I do at the dinner party or work function?

How will I get through this wedding?

How do I make new friends?

Should I get rid of all my old drinking buddies?

What do I say/do when < fill in the blank > happens?

The next thing you know, you’ll be negotiating with yourself thinking maybe you could have just one, this one time -- when you know in the back of your mind that you tried that SO many times before without success.

You could even convince yourself that it’s too boring not to drink because you are tired of sitting at home on the weekends with nothing “fun” to do.

Often people don’t know how to redefine fun and they focus on what they think they are losing instead of what they are gaining.

We keep people pleasing and saying yes when it’s a no because we are afraid to have (hard) conversations.

Boundaries in sobriety are key, but often most people don’t know how to have them, where to put them or what to say when they need to be enforced.

We get what’s called drinking amnesia, which is to say: we forget how bad things actually were.

The “pink cloud” fades and life feels a little bit harder OR some kind of stress enters into your life that you might not have been prepared for like a death, illness or job loss.

It leaves a lot of room for the drinking voice to rear its ugly head and get a little louder than you were prepared for.

Couple this voice with the shitty committee in your head that has always said you’re not good enough, and all of a sudden your sobriety can become hard to manage by yourself.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do I have to be sober to join?

The Hangover Free club is for those who are already sober from alcohol or for people who have worked with Carly. This is to protect the energy of the group. If you are still drinking or you are struggling with making your sobriety stick, please head here to check out our coaching program as you may need more hand-holding & subconscious reprogramming than THFC offers.

Q: When are the Monthly Group Coaching Calls

The 3rd Wednesday of the month at 5pm PST/8pm EST.

Q: What if I can't make the call?

They will be recorded and you'll have access to listen to any calls you miss while you are a member.

Q: What is the format of the coaching call?

These calls will be 60-90 minutes long and will be held on Zoom. The beauty of this program is that you will truly get to know one another and we will be able to go deeper on these calls together as a result of this. Each call will have an opening reading and intention setting prior to our sharing circle where everyone will have time to get support.

Q: Are these like AA meetings?

No, not at all. AA was not part of Carly's recovery path and this club is in no way affiliated with AA. However, we do support all pathways into recovery and honor what works for you individually.

Q: How long will I have access to the materials?

You will have access to your member portal, Masterclasses, call recordings, self care kits and private group chat for as long as you are a member.

Q: What happens when I join?

You'll gain full access to membership portal where you will find a Welcome video, all your monthly goodies and Masterclasses for the current and prior months. You’ll also receive access and instructions on how to use to the private group app as well as the upcoming schedule & Zoom access for group calls.

Q: Is There a Facebook group?

No, this group community happens inside What's App and offers a private chat instead of a Facebook group, which is a much more friendly environment for you to grow in your friendships with each other. Not to mention, it's way more private!

Q: Do I have to be on video?

No, you have the option to join without video. However, part of sobriety is learning to show up, even when you are scared, so you'll be encouraged to share to get the most out of your membership.

Q: Do I get direct mentorship from Carly?

Yes! That is a major perk of being part of this club. It's her inner circle, in a sense, and she will be active in the group chat as well as on your group coaching calls. A lot of other groups out there don't give you access like this, but Carly loves to be involved and available to you as part of the group. You'll have an Expert Sobriety Coach in your pocket, essentially.

Q: How many people are in the club?

We have an awesome community inside HFC already. It's not about numbers as much as it is about participation and we have plenty of room for you to join us. We will be monitoring the size of the group to make ensure we have the best experience.

Q: What is the refund policy?

There are no refunds, however, you can cancel your membership at any time. If you signed up for 6 months, you will have the choice to renew when your 6 months is up.

Q: What's the cancellation policy?

You can cancel your membership at any time by sending an email to info@MiraclesAreBrewing.com. However, we think you'll love your new hangover free friends and find so much value that you'll stick around for a very long time.

Q: Will enrollment open again?

Most likely, but probably not for a bit. What we can say for sure is that the membership price will increase, so don't wait!

This is the place where you meet hangover free friends who become family.
